A CREW Love Story...

Love is certainly in the air around here lately and as I sit here and write this, I can hardly believe there is a wedding this weekend. For you to fully appreciate the upcoming nuptials I am going to have to rewind to spring 2015.

Spring 2015 was an interesting time for me. I was moving the studio after our wintery flood in our Haverhill space and to be honest, attempt to make something out of nothing in North Andover. It was a community effort to get our new studio open and I was taking all the help I could get... cue Jay.

Jay and I met at The Lasting Room one night over an after work cocktail… I swear he gave me an extra long stare. It wasn’t soon after this that I roped him into helping me paint the new spot.

Jay made us take this one about 17 times because we looked too much like a couple during the no dating clause period.

One thing lead to another and before you knew it… nope we didn’t fall in love. (Caught you there didn’t I) Plot twist: Jay became a business partner. Mind-blowing I know. In our business agreement, there was a no-dating clause… but for those of you who know me, I didn’t let this get me discouraged. (I mean, he was just so cute)

The opening of The Soul House was such an exciting time for both of us. We had an amazing response from the community, we were having so much fun, and we ended up becoming really good “friends”.  Such good “friends” that clients were always giggling at us... even though we assured them it was all business.

Turns out we were the last to know, it was love. It’s been our story ever since and it all started with CREW. That is the place where we became best friends, where we got engaged, and where we have created so many memories with all of you.

So many of you have been on this ride with us and we want you to know how much that means to us. From the future Ostrowski’s, we LOVE you!
